The Tallis Choir of Toronto Online - Musical Director, Peter Mahon

Artistic Director Peter Mahon is a lifelong professional musician. As a conductor he has more than a quarter of a century of experience working with various choirs in Toronto.

Currently, in addition to the Tallis Choir, he is a rehearsal conductor and singing instructor at St. Michael's Choir School. He is also the Director of the Chancel Choir at Lorne Park Baptist Church in Mississauga.

Mr. Mahon is also professional singer, having been a member of the Tafelmusik Chamber Choir since 1985 and a member of La Chappelle de Quebec since 1999. He has appeared as a soloist with Tafelmusik, Toronto Consort, Aradia Ensemble, Studio de musique ancienne de Montreal, Toronto Masque Theatre, the Montreal Baroque Festival and the London Early Music Festival.
