Experience the complete movie in HD with live orchestra and choir. Ridley Scott's swords and sandals 2000 epic Gladiator will be presented live in concert for the first time in Canada as Hans Zimmer's and Lisa Gerrard’s sweeping score is brought to life by a live orchestra and chorus with featured soloist Clara Sanabras, conducted by Justin Freer.

Winner of five Academy Awards® and countless other honours, Gladiator remains one of the most popular films in its genre of all time.

Gladiator follows loyal Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russell Crowe), who is betrayed when the emperor's ambitious son, Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix), murders his father and seizes the throne. Reduced to slavery, Maximus rises through the ranks of the gladiatorial arena to avenge the murder of his family and his emperor.

Distant Worlds features award-winning music from the record-breaking video game series FINAL FANTASY performed live by a symphony orchestra and accompanied by the Tallis Choir of Toronto. Cosplayers are welcome!
