The Tallis Choir presents: Christmas In The Renaissance
Step back in time to experience a Renaissance Christmas with the Tallis Choir.
Long before the Christmas tunes of Mariah Carey, Bing Crosby, and Irving Berlin graced our airwaves, the composers of the Renaissance celebrated Christmas through magnificent anthems, carols, and masses.
We’ll perform joyous works that have resounded through church and chapel at Christmastime from the Renaissance to the present day, including:
Missa Puer natus, by Thomas Tallis
O beatum et sacrosanctum diem, by Peter Philips
Magnificat secundi toni, by Tomás Luis de Victoria
Tickets: $30, $25 (seniors) and $10 (students with ID at the door).
